At FLARE, safety isn’t an add-on. It’s the foundation. Flaring is a young discipline, and that comes with responsibility, for ourselves, for our community and for the future of the sport. We believe performance and safety belong together. Precision, control and intuition only matter when they’re built on a clear understanding of the system.
That’s why we created the FLARE Academy.
Before you dive in: Videos help. Personal instruction matters even more. No online tutorial replaces a proper safety briefing with a certified FLARE partner.

In the Soaring Academy, we guide you through handling characteristics, setup, safe progression and essential system knowledge for controlled, precise flight.
Speedflying demands precision, awareness and discipline. The Speedflying Academy covers system setup, control feedback and the specific safety considerations that come with higher speeds and proximity flying.
