Armin never really fit into one box.
He studied physics, became German champion in canoeing and kitesurfing, and even vice champion in paragliding. Air and water were never separate worlds for him. They were connected long before anyone else saw it.
As the founder of FLYSURFER, Armin was one of the first to recognize the potential of foil kites. While others doubted the concept, he kept building, testing, refining. Prototype after prototype. Always chasing better performance, longer hangtime, more control.
PSYCHO, SPEED, VIRON, SONIC and many other iconic wings started as ideas in his head and sketches on his desk.
But he did not stop there.
The idea of combining a kite with a paraglider had been with him for years. The MOUSTACHE, formerly known as the Skycarver, was not a quick product idea. It was a long-term vision. A dream of merging two worlds into something entirely new.
For Armin, innovation has never been about hype. It is about creating something that truly adds value. Something that makes people smile the moment they lift off.
When a new product works exactly the way he imagined it and customers feel that difference, that is his favorite moment. Almost like the birth of a baby, he says with a grin.
Curiosity drives him. Engineering grounds him. Passion keeps him moving.
And he is still not done.
